L'oréal Paris 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution- Review

Hello Everyone,
When I finished my truly loved Clean and clear moisturising lotion a month back I went on the hunt to find something that helps to take the rough of your makeup off before you cleanse, with high expectations I was soon giving up and deciding if I should just buy the same product again in Asda but then I came across the 3 in 1 purifying Micellar Solution which was on special offer for £2 and I thought why not?

The packaging is slim and long so it is great for slipping into your overnight bag and it is plain and simple (the way I like most things) with hints of pink. Since the formula is like water there is a great lid on it which helps you control the amount of solution you want which I love as normally if I am in a rush everything spills all over the floor and on all my furniture.

What I love most about this product is the fact that it can be used on you eyes, lips and face which is great and means you don't get a stingy eye or a disgusting taste in your mouth. Even though you can use this on your eyes it still has the cleansing formula to help unclog your pores before you use a cleanser or a scrub. I usually just apply this product using some cotton pads and if I want to get close around my eyes, a cotton bud.

Some people say that it's a dupe for Bioderma, what do you think?

NYX Haul!

Yesterday I started jumping for joy when the Postman arrived and had a box for me which had NYX splattered across it, I just couldn't contain myself as normally when I order things off the internet they take longer than what they actually say (I do have a bit of a grudge on my Postman as I always thinks he leaves them for ages but probably I loose my patience and I come up with a lot of scenarios in my head!) and therefore I never think about anything coming until the 7 days are up.

So actually getting on to the point of this post, last sunday I ordered 4 things off the NYX website (lets call it a New Years present to myself) as I have heard lots of great reviews and after hoarding over youtube videos I finally decided on what to buy.

First I bought a Blush in the shade Desert Rose, which is quite a deep pink towards a orange red colour which I absolutely love. The texture of the blush is very smooth and very blendable, there also is a high pigmentation from the blush which is great.

The next thing that I bought was a Jumbo Eye Pencil in the shade Bronze which is a gorgeous colour that I never could of imagined could be in an eyeshadow stick but what do ya know there it is. The texture of the stick is soft and creamy which is great so it won't tug on your eyes. So far I have tried this out in the outer corner of my eye and all over the lid blended out and I absolutely love it both ways.

The next eye product that I bought was a Cream Shadow in the shade Copper, recently I have been loving the look of coppery toned colours on my lids. (I am not even sure if you are meant to wear copper on blue eyes but in the cheesiest way possible YOLO) I love this colour all over my lids blended out with a deep matte brown in the crease, a black or brown eyeliner and plenty of mascara. On the packaging it says water resistant but as you know with many things that is not exactly true, but one thing that is for sure is that once you have this baby on your lids you have to work fast as once it's on, IT'S ON!

Finally the last thing I bought I have heard missglamorazzi (on YouTube) rave on for ages about, I made sure I bought it as I was so intrigued as what it is like. So it is a Mega Shine Lip Gloss in the shade Beige. Don't get me started on the packaging of this, it is not very clear in the photos but there is the cutest bow on the top of the applicator I will have to Instagram it or Twitter Picture it. The Lip Gloss itself is very easy to apply and is hardly sticky at all so there is none of your woops I have a strand of hair stuck to my lips situation. I find that in my own personal smell testing (We all know I am great at describing smells... Not!) I think it smells like a mixture of juicy fruit chewing gum and love heart sweets both which i love so Win Win. The Lip Gloss is a nude pink I would say which can be sheer but you can definitely build up the colour which I love. Before this I hardly wore lip Gloss and I know 2014 will begin my obsession of Lip Gloss along with a whole pile of other cosmetics.

So that is it for my NYX Haul I absolutely love everything I bought especially when I only had to guess by reviews on the internet and I am very pleased and I will definately be purchasing more from the NYX website and maybe later in 2014 we may be able to purchase NYX products in our drugstores of UK & Ireland.

Topshop Highlighter- Review

Hey Everyone,
Today I am going to do a review on my new Topshop Highlighter. First of all I absolutely love the packaging of the highlighter along with all the rest of the Topshop cosmetics as I find it is plain and simple but still eye-catching and pretty to look at.

The highlighter itself is in the shade Crescent Moon which is a light creamy shimmery colour. One thing that is for certain is when you are using this colour a little definitely goes a long way, because if you use too much I'm sure you will reflect light like a mirror on your cheek bones!

This product is great for accentuating your cheekbones and gives your face a little more shape along with leaving you with a silky sheen. I personally highly recommend this product as I feel it has as good of quality as a high end highlighter.
